For those who are buying a home, from the tech standpoint I have a property search website that allows me to track properties my clients are looking at online and marking as their favorites. We’re able to communicate instantly and watch for changes from a feed that is refreshed frequently throughout the day.
When my clients identify a neighborhood they want to live in and we have been unsuccessful in finding anything online, I’ve gone out and rang doorbells to search for someone who wants to sell. This high touch approach gives me a boots on the ground perspective of a neighborhood that can’t be found through an online search or by looking at a spreadsheet.
For those who need to sell a home, I use online information to educate my clients so they are able to price correctly. I always hire a professional photographer and have specialty photographers (such as drone photographers) I can use depending on the property. Once the home is listed I do both online advertising and door to door canvassing based on the assumption that one of your neighbors may know someone who wants to buy your home!
